We are privileged to conduct our research and educational experiences in the Galápagos islands. Parque Nacional Galápagos is located more than 500 miles off the coast of Ecuador in the Pacific Ocean. It is home to some of the most amazing flora and fauna in the world, including giant tortoises, marine iguanas, blue footed boobies, sea lions, and much more. It is also home to a vibrant population of approximately 30,000 residents, visited by about 300,000 tourists annually. It is a natural living laboratory of social and biological evolution.
